new job corporate credit card?

Hi - I just accepted a new job; I noticed they use Am Ex as a corporate credit card. If they offer me one, which is likely, will Am Ex turn me down? I am in Chapter 13, paying everything. I will probably be asking to dismiss because of some funds coming in but meanwhile, and even so, I am scared to death that the new job which I know I will love will be messed up, up front, by Am Ex turning me down. Thoughts?

The card is guaranteed by the company, so your credit has nothing to do with. Also, don't bother dismissing your chapter 13, keep the funds and do something else with them.

but...

my attorney says that the trustee gets to do what he wants with the money which is an asset, the settlement from a lawsuit...and the corporate diners club cancelled on me at my last job when I missed a payment on my citibank visa card even though they were paid in full. I hope you are right about the card, when I think about talking about my credit with my new employer, my stomach turns into knots.

You could always just go to your boss, and let them know. Tell them quietly, and explain to them what happened, why it happened, and maybe they could help you out some more.
