    Tribute Mastercard Weird Credits

After I was discharged in 2006 I opened a Tribute Mastercard. I've noticed that over the last 2 months they have placed huge credits on my account. Last month (January) it was over 4X myu credit limit showing that I actually had a negitive balanace of like $1,400.00. This Month I recieved a credit of 3X my limit with a negative balance of $1,300.00. I guess my question is, Is this a ploy to try to trick people into coving over thier limit?
    My credit scores:
Before Filing: Tr 496, Ex 496, Eq 507

    Today: Tr 618 (+122), Ex 601 (+105), Eq 623 (+116)

I've never had a tribute card and nothing like this has ever happened with any of my credit cards...but

About two years ago, my bank that I hold my savings and checking at (chase) made a big error with my account. I checked my online banking one morning, and had about 2,000 in it more than it should've had. I called them and the rep did some research, and found that at one of their branches, the teller deposited someones deposit into my account by mistake.

It's possible someone has an account number close to yours, and they're making payments that are posting to your account instead of theres.

How long do the credit's remain on your account? Do you have to bring it to their attention or does it correct itself automatically?

They atuo correct just before my bill is cut, that's what seems strange, and make me suspect that that are trying to intise me into going over my limit. They are marked "Credit for Insurance"

        Ok folks, here we go...

        I got my bill today.

I have no minimum payment and a credit balance of $1,341.65.

Needless to say, I will not be sending them a payment this month. Yes, before anyone askes I'm still keeping them on my budget. I have a execting budget to the penny for all my bills and spending... I'm not going to assume that this mistake will remain on my account. My current budget has them getting paid off in Aug, and that is still my plan. What I will not due is call them and tell them of there error (just yet). I have had some issues with this credit card in the past and I'll be damned if they make an error in my favor for one month and let them know about it
