How should this be reporting? (long...sorry)

As you all may know, we filed a 7, converted to a 13, transferred the case to another state, then converted back to a 7 and received a discharge in Feb 08.

My credit report shows the 13 filed in HI and says it was DISMISSED!? It shows the 7 as filed in LA and discharged.

My point is that I have 2 BK's on my record. i do have 2 case numbers because of the transfer, but it was all the same case. I did not file 2 times. The person at the car lotthe other day told me that we almost did not get approved because of the 2 BK's showing. We had to do it in my husband's name for now, as his report only shows one.

I'm not sure how to approach this. I disputed as not mine, because I do not have a dismissed BK in HI. Mine in HI is closed and transferred. It came back verified on EX.

I have proof of the onversions and transfers in the form of court orders. Do is send them to the CRA with a dispute letter??

I'm not sure how to write the letter explaining all of this so that the flunkie reading dispute letters doesn't get bored or confused and throw it in the trash and stamp it verified again...

they are allowed by law to report both BK's on our report. I have a chp 13 and 7 on my report. I converted and the 13 shows involuntary dismissed the 7 shows voluntary discharged. I complained with my states's AG office who reported to me by law the 13 is dismissed and the 7 filed but my case numbers are one digit away from other so what i did was wrote a letter and added it to each credit agency.

Thanks. I guess I need to do that. I'm going to go over the listing though, to see if there is something I can dispute, pray for no answer and they will have to delete Probably won't work, but you never know!
