    Post filing credit card

I filed a 7 with my wife but we have not been discharged yet. She gets credit card offers every day, as expected. I don't receive any at all...any idea why this would be? Obviously, we don't want any stinkin' cards, but I'm wondering why I'm not receiving the same offers? My guess is that my credit score was worse before filing, so maybe that is it. Or maybe something hasn't been noted correctly on my credit report? Should I just run a check on myself even though I'm in the 60 day waiting period?
    Thanks for any advice.

signup for a credit monitoring service like truecredit.com. for $14/mo you can view all 3 reports, updated daily, and dispute items as needed. they do have a FAKO (not FICO) scoring system which is only good for tracking trends.

Your wife's name is just on a number of lists, that's all. You can opt out of all those offers by contacting all three of the credit reporting agencies to block your names from the companies that search for your information for credit offers. BK drums up a whole other set of all sorts of offers, usually car loans or refinancing. Will will get lots of them after discharge as your filing information is public and many lenders/companies get that information to send you advertisements/offers.
