Motion for Relief of Stay/Adequate protection

Are these things commonly filed by the mortgage company when you are surrendering the house in a Chapter 7?

I'll be calling our attorney tomorrow, but I was just wondering in the meantime.

Yes, if you state your intention to surrender, the mortgage company will file a motion to lift stay...not a big deal.

Great, thanks. I was starting to semi-worry since we only have about 1 month left to go before being (hopefully ) discharged (and coincidentally about a month left before we move - didn't want to be forced to leave before our rental house is available).
