Just curious,

When I filed BK a few years back. A few members on this site recommended Justice Federal Credit Union for obtaining personal loans.

Anyone had any luck with this credit union lately?

I want to join this credit union. But I have to jump through alot of hoops to join, example joining an affiliate organization to get credit union membership. And I want to know if it's all worth it, because I need a loan.

www.capitalone.com has personal loan...have not personally tried it but its on there. Interest ranges from 6 to 24 percent.

I got two car loans through JFCU within 2 months of Ch 13 discharge. Rate was 7.5% for 5 years...

Does anyone know how easy they are for obtaining loans?

I always get pre-approved offers for cars. But they know they have a tangible asset to collect if default occurs. But they dont' seem as free with the cash loans.
