I noticed that our Golden Bay CU Auto Loan is not only showing as a chargeoff, delinquent account (no mention of BK), but apparently they were changed to Meriwest CU. So now, there are two reports, one from Golden Bay and one from Meriwest.
Both are showing the same acct # but there's no notes that say 'account sold or transferred', nothing! Is this showing as a double whammy on our credit score?
We tried to dispute the Meriwest as "not mine", but both Meriwest and Golden Bay resulted in "remains" on the dispute. So I'm a little concerned. Should we just contact them directly?
