    Local court judgement case dismissed

Just wanted to say thanks for the imput and what to do. I filed a motion for dismissal for a creditor that was suing me in small claims court and just read that the case was dismissed.
That is just one less stress.
Now I have to just wait on the 341.
    Filed BK 3-31-08
    341 meeting 5-16-08
    discharge 7-18-08

hmm, aren't judgements automatically dismissed from filing? I have a couple against me as well as being garnished and the garnsihment was stopped automatically. Didn't think I had to do anything on my end after filing.

Technically, you don't have to do anything. But it is advisable, that once you receive your discharge, you should file a motion in the court where the judgment was issued to "vacate" the judgment. (doing so also has the benefit of cleaning up your "public records" section of your credit report).
