We are 31 mos into a 60 mos plan. I just had to buy 4 new summer tires last week. Bad enough I had to buy 4 new winters last fall. UGH! Just worked out that way this year :(
Anyhow, my car is aging.....for the most part gracefully. It's a 99 Altima with 104,000 miles. It absolutely HAS to get me through till the 13 is over with.
I've had a funny noice coming from the front passenger side which sounds like it's either under the hood or within the dash (hard to tell from the drivers side). I had my free front end alignment today (free w/purchase of my new tires) and reluctantly asked them to check it out. I say reluctantly, because I was afraid it would be something horribley expensive. It's a noise I hear going over bumps sometimes, but not every time.
Good news. It's "nothing" per the mechanic. Just may be that there is something inside the dash on passengers side, maybe loose, that's causing the noise. Everything else checks out ok, so nothing to worry about!
