I find myself checking pacer everyday, just to see if there is a creditor objection, or if it changes to "Awaiting Discharge" Why is it getting so harder?! Is it because my discharge is close and almost in my reach? I've looked at other local cases, and they get discharged around 4 days after their last day for objections, so I'm hoping and praying it's like that for me too. My Question is... Everything I filed on is dischargable. Does that mean that everything should get discharged? At the time of my 341 I was making 240.00 a month and now I'm going to school, so I can finally make something of myself. I'm just hoping everything gets discharged. Can anyone say anything to help me not worry about this so much?

Sounds like you have nothing to worry about.Originally posted by cirnrab View PostI find myself checking pacer everyday, just to see if there is a creditor objection, or if it changes to "Awaiting Discharge" Why is it getting so harder?! But I understand that it becomes stressful as you become more eager and anxious for it to finally be OVER.
Yes, all your debts will be discharged except for school loans or taxes. Any normal credit card debt or bank loan will be discharged unless they file and win an objection, which they only have 2 weeks left to do. Chances are they will NOT, as most do not.
My best advice is to TRY to forget about it, do NOT check Pacer every day, and just wait until a couple weeks from now when it's the 4th day after your 60 days, THEN check Pacer!
Meanwhile, try to keep yourself busy and don't worry. In 98% of cases like your's (no asset Ch. 7, no real complications) everything goes smooth as silk and all debts are discharged.<<I am NOT an attorney, my comments are anecdotal only. Contact an attorney for advice>>
FINALLY DISCHARGED 92 DAYS AFTER THE 341!
A NEW START!!!

And listen to PaKettle because they had to wait A LOT longer than most. PaKettle, I am sure after day 50 you were like "WHAT NEXT"!!
Then again when you live in a big city stuff like that could happen. I did a query on Pacer to see how many filings happened just yesterday in Minneapolis and it was 49. I would bet you guys double-triple that. In LA right?Filed: 01/23/08

Right. I am not sure what the number is but on the day of my 341 our Trustee alone was seeing probably 40 cases and I think there are around 12 Trustees for our area, so that may give you some idea!
Yeah, waiting the 60 days was hard enough, but waiting another 30 days after that was Ridiculously hard!
The best thing really is to try to forget about it as much as possible. I compromised with my own advice. I allowed myself to check Pacer once a day, no more. I'd have been better off if I'd just not checked it at all but I was soooo hoping to see the discharge on there I couldn't stop myself.
But all's well that ends well, and it ended well. I'm sure cirnrab's will end well, too.<<I am NOT an attorney, my comments are anecdotal only. Contact an attorney for advice>>
