Last day for objections - May 5th...

Our last day for objections is this Monday, May 5th (whoo-hoo) and so far only Wells Fargo has filed a motion to lift the stay regarding our house, but that was to be expected. Has anyone heard of anything crazy like a creditor waiting until the very last day to file anything?

Thanks in advance again to everyone for all their help and can't believe it's almost over!!!

It is possible, and I seem to recall ONE member who got a US trustee motion to extend time for objection at the last minute. But generally, if the US Trustee or a Creditor was going to have an issue, they would have popped-up their heads by now.

I recall a member who had a creditor object on the last day.
But only one out of hundreds, so I think you are pretty safe.
Unless you had a super large cash advance in the past 6 months before filing or bought a large ticket item on credit within the past 90 days or so, you should be safe in any case.

once case is discharged, creditor cannot come back asking to reverse or verify again, right?
when it's done, it is done, correct? they no longer have a chance to change and come after anymore. right...?

99.9% of the time when a bk case is discharged and closed, it's over. The 0.01% exception is if something major comes to light afterwards that proves bankruptcy fraud occurred. Then your case can be reopened by the court to pursue the fraud charge. But this is very, very unusual. If you didn't commit fraud when you filed, then you're home free.
