Chapter 7 discharged; checked my credit report today, 1 acct not found?

i went to view equifax and transunion to see my credit report, as i got discharged in feb. this year. 1 out of 4 mortgage loan acct isn't showing!!!! why....

this is what i see with 2 homes and 4 mortg loans total that got listed in bk:

    home (md):
    1st loan - balance $30k / past due $30k
    2nd loan - balance 0 / past due 0

    home (va):
    1st loan - balance 0 / past due 0
    2nd loan - Not listed.

unlike other accts above, i can still view using id/pass for 2nd loan (va) and it says i owe as of this month.

i sent an email to the customer svc. for clarification... did they forget on following up to close the acct? i dont understand...

    any input...?

i know its a complex question... anyway it is so weird because 1st mortg. reported on april this year to credit reporting agencies (equifax etc) that acct is 'closed' but it has balance showing. status says 'foreclose started'. the fact is, it got sold on auction prior to april. i emailed indymac if they can refresh the report to show 'zero balance'. it just doesnt look good to my report although, it's listed under 'closed' accts.

i called the 2nd loan in question (one that still adding current due to the acct - viewed online statement) and a rep said dont worry about it, it's active chapter 7 in a system. so i guess i can now rest assured....

If they were included in the bankruptcy they should show IIB.

so i called indymac (never deal with indy; they rejected shortsale offer and really is bad) today to see why my credit report shows the balance of 370k. a rep (doesnt really seem to know 100%) told me this:

"bankruptcy doesnt mean you are done with all the balance due. we bought the house on auction and is reselling it. if we sell it, once difference is determined with your current balance, some bank 1099c you and you pay tax. it depends. so we arent going to change in your credit report that says bal is 370k+"

oooook.... im lost. i think thats what she said to me on a phone today.

how is this... i thought g bush reformed temporarily not to charge anyone with 1099c (going through this type of situation).... is that true...?

i submitted credit rpt dispute today through 3 agencies....

        IM SO LOST

This sounds wrong what they told you. If you surrendered the house in a bankruptcy there is no 1099, the person you talked to or communicated with is wrong. However it does often take for the house to sell for everything to be reported properly.

You are taking the right step in disputing, I'd send copies of your discharge and creditors matrix to show that the debt was discharged and that the house was included.
