When did the new Bk laws take effect??

I got a book today from the library for personal bk and it was published in 2003. Shouuld I even read it??

BK laws changed in 2005. That's all I do know for sure. You can probably learn tons right here on this forum. Look using the search and if you can't find the answer there, then post a new thread with your question, this forum is great and there lots of smart people on here who can answer all your questions.

No. Many of the bankruptcy law "rules" in this book are out of date and inaccurate.

You need to find a book written after October 2005 to include the current bankruptcy law.
