It is very unlikely that any student loan will ever be discharged.

In some cases you can get your student loan discharged in BK. The court would have to rule that repayment would case undue hardship. This is so very rare it is hardly worth mentioning. I would not get any hopes up.

Yeah, you have a better chance of President Bush lowering gas to $1 a gallon for the rest of eternity than you do of a student loan being discharged.
