    stafford loans

I had my 341 and it was confirmed that very day. Not sure hoiw that happened that fast but I have $14000 stafford loans added in my chap 13 plan. My question is will I be able to get more loans in the fall. I will ne done with this degree in 2010 and it is deferred right now. But when I look on Great Lakes website it shows I'm in default. I got student loans before while in bankruptcy and it never showed that. I'm wondering if it's because they added federal taxes I owe of $900. Anybody know for sure. Thanks much

Go to or call your financial aid office at your school now and explain the situation. They are your best source as to all this and have been through everything. My daughter (who lives with us) utilizes Stafford Loans and she goes through her financial aid office as to any issues, problems or questions and they help her immediately.

Yes, you will. I'm in an Active 13 and just got a loan for the last semester ( Stafford )

What is Great Lakes? Is it a bank?
Ours is with Wells Fargo and they wrote it off. I'm sure we'll pay SOMEONE once we're out of BK

Great Lakes Higher Education is where I would make my payments. The bank is actually JP Morgan Chase Bank. Great Lakes is the guarantor for the loans.
