I like to keep track of stuff so I logged into my Direct Loans site. They must have contacted my trustee. In the past, it has always shown the current month as the due date with zero due of course. Well the amounts owed have DECREASED in some cases by over 200.00 (and I have kept track every month, so the only adjustment made was the backing out of accumultated interest as the trustee has NOT made any payments since April on these accounts) AND it shows my NEXT DUE DATE as 12/2008. Now some of you are aware that I was disappointed to discover that my countdown of 36 months began at confirmation (Nov 3, 2005) so that will be the month my payments stop. So discharge I figured would be January 09, but maybe December now. Interesting I thought as I have heard nothing from the trustee since my discovery of the date of confirmation as the starting point of my plan.
