Paying Student Loans During BK

So when a person files bk, they don't have to pay student loans during an active bk, right?

But then the interest will still acrue, right?

What do most people do?

Yes, generally speaking, student loans are automatically put into deferment while a BK is pending; and Yes, interest continues to accrue.

The smart thing to do, if you can afford it, is to keep making payments, or at least some payment that is at least few dollars more than the accumulating interest per month.
