Sorry if this has been asked before.

I filed CH 7 pro se and am awaiting the discharge. A new company has sent me a bill for a debt listed on my BK. How do I handle that?
Thanks for all the help everyone gives here. It is a real lifesaver.

The original debtor was listed, the comany who contatcted me is a collection agency (who I never had contact with before) for the orginal debtor.

I will send them a copy. Thank you!

Does the firm know you filed BK? Since you filed pro se did you send letters to your creditors about your BK? If not, you need to let them know asap. Whether your case has been discharged or not is irrelevant. They are not supposed to contact you once you have filed. Try not to worry.

Just send them a copy of the notice of the 341 meeting that you received from the BK court.
