chap.13 late payment ohio

if a chap 13 case is dismissed due to late payments can you convert to chap 7 immediately. i live in ohio

if the case is already dismissed, then you would have to file a new case. If not already dismissed, then you can convert

im planning on filing for chap13 due to garnisment of wages for the time being and saving my my home. in ohio there is legislation which has passed the senate, in changing exemption better for the consumer. i plan on riding it out in chap 13 till i find out when this new law will take effect. i would be able to keep mine home with the new exemptions in filing chap 7. if any one else has a better solution to my problem please come forth im due to sign for chap13 this week. as usual thanks for the help.
