Credit card companies that don't attend the 341

Do the credit card companies -- who rarely attend 341 meetings -- get any kind of transcript or notification about what occured or what was said at the 341?

Does the court automatically send them a summary of what happened?

When you file, the court sends out notices to everyone listed in your Creditor Matrix (fancy name for 'list') along with instructions of what they may or may not do. As you said, they rarely, if ever, send a representative to the 341. But they are notified that they have a certain amount of days in which to file an Adversarial Proceeding protesting the discharge of the debt. This is usually 60 days, sometimes longer when its determined that it is an Asset case. But 60 days is the norm, which is why you'll find references to the '60 Day Club'. The countdown starts the day after the 341. Whether they get a transcript or not, I don't know, but I rather doubt it. The BK files are Public Record, so if they want to send someone to the courthouse to look through your file, they can certainly do that.

    Good luck to you!
