    Change in income after filing...

I started a very part-time job the day we filed. The attorney figured (by estimation) what my pay would be to put in the paperwork. I knew it was a temp job with the potential for permanent, but it ended up only being a two week job as the person I was covering for came back early and I was barely trained enough for them to justify needing me.

Is this something that the trustee is may freak out about since it's on there that I was going to be working there and now I'm suddenly not? Once they finally pay me, I'm going to have the stub to show, but it's only one.

    Thanks for input.

If you didn't voluntarily leave the position, I don't think it's an issue. In fact, I think it shows your willingness to take whatever work you can to better your financial situation.

You can leave your job if you want to.

You don't have to work. You don't have to justify your qualifying to file a BK, either. In fact- if you CAN quit your job then reduce your income before filing, more power to you! Simplify things, eh?

You'll be asked if there are any chances during your 341 meeting. Merely mention that the part time job has ended as it was temporary. Provide the stub and I"m sure the trustee can follow up if he needs to. I would let your lawyer know before the meeting so he can be prepared.

AMD, a request....in the future, please don't post two new threads in different forum areas that ask the same question. It's against our forum rules, and typically you will get better and more responses when they are all posted in the same thread. Also members get frustrated when they provide an answer to your question in one thread and then see you have another identical thread with the same question going where someone else has already provided the same answer. It's just good forum etiquette to post one thread with your question

Since your two threads about what to do with your lost part-time job income already have multiple responses at this point, I'm going to leave them separated rather than merge them. But please don't start two threads like this in different forum areas in the future, ok? Thanks!
