    Post BK reporting?

Can someone please tell me now that I am discharged from my Chapter 13, how are my creditors supposed to be reporting?

Are they all supposed to read "0" balance, "0" past due, and discharged?

How about my mortgage? They are listed but paid outside the plan, zero amount in the arears. Souldn't they now report me as if I was never in a BK now that I discharged? I was never late nor behind in my payments.

    Thanks

Read the Stickys on here. We are almost two years past discharge. After your discharge the accounts included in your filing should read as being in or discharged through Chapter 13 or Wage Earner's Plan and should show the date of filing. However, if you have late payments or chargeoffs that occurred prior to your filing date on those accounts, they may remain and you may have a difficult time removing them. Any debt listed in your filing was in your BK; therefore, even though you may have paid your mortgage or vehicle outside your Plan it was still part of your BK and you may not be able to get that removed from your reports. We got ours changed (paid our first mortgage and home equity mortgage outside our Plan) by disputing that it was paid outside the Plan. It took us a while but we were able to get the included in BK off of those mortgages now showing as normal nicely paid off and on time payment mortgages on our credit reports.

It may take you a while to get things cleaned up - I had recent issues with BOA accounts for some reason recently switching us from being in Chapter 13 to Chapter 7 and I had to again resend in filing information. Prior to that time they were reported correctly as being in Chapter 13. I don't now how those errors occur out of nowhere...I truly believe it is the people who input the information and they just don't care or sloppily do it.

      Flamingo,

What about accounts that were paid in full before the I even filed the chapter 13? They have the right to report to the CRA as being IIB?

Read the Stickys on here? I am lost.
