Probably a simple question, but important!

I filed prose and after filing the paperwork and leaving the court and getting home I noticed they never did ask me for proof of income. Well I noticed on pacer it showed that proof of income was missing.

I emailed my trustee and she said to scan the pay statements and tax records and send them to her through email and then file your certification of submission on both with the court.

Well I have looked all over pacer and dont see a way to submit that. My question is how do I do this? Do I go to the court to do this, or through pacer, or is there a form I fill out and fax to the court house or hand deliver it there? As you can tell I am a bit confused on this one.

You need to mail all of that material to the Clerk of the Bankruptcy Court, certified, return reciept. In a couple of days you should see it on PACER. That is what we do and have had no problems.

    Good luck.

I agree with Cat, the certificate of submission varies by state I believe (so check your states website for the appropriate form). Call your court clerk to see what types of submission they accept (electronic, paper) but you can really never go wrong mailing it to the court.

You were able to email the paystubs to the trustee, correct?
Not only am I not a lawyer, the California BAR association has sent me numerous letters telling me not to even THINK about going to law school. In fact, the lay advice I provide is not even good. In the end remember, you get what you pay for, and here in BK land were not the best at paying.
