    Pacer.....Not Found??

We already had our 341 meeting and I have been on PACER once....I just tried to look at our updates on Pacer....I logged in correctly...had the right District but when I did a Query for either the Case # or just our last name, it says Case # not found or person not found.
I've been on there before and got updates, so why is it saying this?

Did you try a query with either of your socials (including the hyphen, in the format ###-##-####)?

There isn't a place in the Query for SSN's.....at least I didn't see it!

I always put our last name and the last 4 of my DH social to find it. I search under bankruptcies and do not even bother with the state, case number or court.

It sounds to me like you are trying to search from the PACER Service Center Home Page rather than your local court's PACER website.

If this is the case, try going here http://pacer.psc.uscourts.gov/psco/cgi-bin/links.pl and finding your local U.S. Bankruptcy court. Next click on the "[name of court] - Document Filing System" link. Sign in with your "Login" and "Password" but leave the "client code" field empty. Once you're logged in, click "QUERY" in the menu bar at the top. You should then be able to search with your social security number.

I always do last name, first name and last 4. I also search under BKs.

I am finding Pacer truly unfriendly. I see no "query" button and can't figure out how to do a search under bankruptcies only. If I go onto my court page, the only option I have is to search the Los Angeles Archives, and I am not found. If I put in my last name, it pulls up a list of people with that last name dating from 1984-1999.

              I don't get it.

                Go to this site: https://pacer.login.uscourts.gov/cgi...court_id=00idx

                Put in your information.

                Under Search click BK.

Where it says party Name, put last name, first name
Under that put last 4 of SSN.

                Click search.

The info will come up. Click the case number and go from there.
