I have a question on our escrow acct related to our mortgage. We just got our tax bill for '07 payable this year. It came down by over $800 a yr. This means my escrow acct is way over and when they refigure it I will surely get a refund.
Now here's the question, how do I acct for this money? Also this means my house payment will drop about $75 a month!!
So my plan is to file soon using the current house payment which ofcourse is higher. If I file before I receive this refund will it be safe? We are a C7. Ofcourse I am filing in the state which gave us taxpapers this huge break, and they will know. Do you think this will be a problem when we file?
Probably worrying about nothing, but just want to ease my mind.
Thanks!
