great news but might be bad for my chapter 7

ok......a supervisor position that i have been waiting to open up has in my company! and from what i hear i basically got the job the manager really has her eye on me. thats great and im so happy it will def make things so much easier for me. its going to be life changing and this time around with a good paying job im not going to piss all my money away but start saving right away. heres the deal, my income right now is under 20k a year, IF i do get this position my salary will shoot up to 32k, not including bonuses, i still think that 32k is still below the median income for a chapter 7 but now im worried they might try to push me into a 13.....what are your thoughts on this? i know the bottom line is im going to have to talk to my lawyer, i really want to just go through with a chapter 7 and start fresh, cause with a BK on my record at all its going to be impossible to get a car loan the way it is, and if i have to go through with a chapter 13 then what if that supervisor job doesnt last and then im stuck in a repayment plan i cant afford? regardless, im taking this job if i get it! what are your thoughts on this? have any of you been pushed into a 13 because u got a better job? now im not actually in the process of filing now, im just still in the process of paying my lawyer.

Are you getting close with the attorney fees? You know it's a 6 month look back. So if you can file soon, it won't reflect your raise. Now I would definitely talk to the attorney soon and if necessary try and get him paid off soon so you can file before bonuses come in. If you're still under the median income you may still be ok. You may need to work on your expenses but that's what your attorney can help you with.

thank you so much! once i know for sure i got the job im going to talk to him and really try to get him paid off ASAP! so far i only paid him 400 so it will be very hard coming up with the rest quickly but ill prob be able to pull it off

Just Plain is right and also if you are under the median even with the job and have a fair amount of expenses (basically meaning someone else isn't footing the bills for you), then I really wouldn't worry about it. But do talk to your attorney to make sure.
