Question How long after Pre-filing Counseling?

How long do you have after the pre-filing counseling to actually file? I thought it was 60 days, but I think it may be longer. My inventory is taking longer than I thought it would and my husband, who was helping, had to go out of town.

So, how many months after the pre-filing do you have before you have to file?

You have six months. However, it doesn't mean you have to file within that time frame after taking the pre-filing course. It just means if you don't file within that time frame, then you would have to take the course again before you would be able to file.
