    Dumb question about filing jointly

I am getting prepared to self file and have a dumb question.
If my husband and I file jointly, do we have to pay double the filing fee ($207 for TX)? Or just one fee $207 since it would be one petition? Or does it vary per state?
Also, since we are thinking about filing jointly, do we BOTH have to be on every credit card/debt that we file on?

Thanks in advance for all the help and support from this forum!
    Hugs,

    You pay one filing fee....

Doesn't make any difference if you both are on the cc cards or debts if you file jointly.....because everything that is listed belongs to both of you...
