personal property exemtion questions

Hi again,

Here in FL there is only a $1,000 personal property exemption. I guess the question is do necessities get included in that amount. In other words, do I have to claim pots, pans, or similar items I need on a daily basis to live as part of the personal property I want to keep?

Personal property includes everything that is not attached to the ground or does not have wheels

You may be overthinking this, if you had to sell everything in your house at a garage sale, do you really think you will get $1000.
