(oops, title is what "to" do about cashing check - cannot edit title!)

Someone gave DH and me a check from BOA that's written out to both of us. Because of that, BOA wouldn't let me cash it today because my DH wasn't with me (and I do not have a BOA account, and "no thanks, I do not want one.")
So, problem is, I owe BOA and I have three bank accounts. Two are new ones opened after I realized the CCs were going to go deliquent and these are fresh/non-tainted accounts - haven't paid any creditors through them and I do not want BOA to find out about these accounts, if possible. The third account is a WAMU checking and I owe WAMU credit cards also!
Even if I'm 2 months late on my WAMU, would they let me deposit the check and/or cash it (or will they snatch the funds?) or do I have to just FORCE my dh to go to BOA with me?
