    nebraska question about a car

I am filing bk chp 7, have no job . I live in Nebraska and it mentions I can keep my car worth 2,500 in value. I have a 2002 saturn and it is paid for.
It has 46,000 miles but it needs some work.

1.brakes and roaters or what ever it is called
    2. diagnostic test, light comes on -charge about 45 to 85 and hr
    3. steering problem check 45 to 85 dollars and hour
4 to fix those things whenever they find the problem I don't know what else.

I don't know what else to say.

As long as $2500 is FMV for the car based on the KBB value you should be fine. I haven't looked at the Nebraska state exemption though, but the Federal exemptions allow you to keep a $2500 car. The prices are actually based on what you would get in an auction so with all the problems it should be ok. Go to this site to see your state's exemptions if you haven't done so already.
