    Need advise-Filing Chapter 13

I was told by my attorney that before chapter 13 is filed, that I would need to spend my money on food, gas, bills and clothing. I'm just wondering if I can spend the rest of it on different things??

    if so, any ideas?

Any necessary living expenses is allowed. For instance, you can replace the tires on your car, just don't go buy a new car, or you can replace the carpet in your house, but you can't upgrade it to wood or tile. A stupid saying is: "Just don't turn the pig into a hog", if you keep that mindset on what you spend it on then you will be ok.

    Good Luck

So, is buying something like a vaccum or $150 pair of shoes ok?

Ugh... spending $150 on shoes is how people get into these messes.
