I guess Chase's computer system and Washington Mutual's are not married yet. My Wamu cards limits are still the same/not cancelled yet.
In 2004 I burned 2 Chase cards in my Chapter 7 filing to the tune of $15,000.

My understanding on these mergers is that it takes a few months for them to integrate their systems.

I have my primary checking account with WAMU and lots of Chase debt although allot of it has been sold to outside collectors.

I turned everything in already so my filing should be complete this month. Keeping my fingers crossed though.
