    Using CC before filing

I just found out I need a tooth pulled...it's killing me. I'm broke. I haven't met with my attorney yet to discuss filing BK but will see him on Wednesday. I have three CC's. Two I haven't used in almost a year. The second I used about two months ago and owe about $550 on. If I used this card to pay for my tooth getting yanked and then file....any problems with that?

Probably not - since it's a health issue.

We used our cards quite a bit and none of our creditors said anything to us. We even charged a stinkin' vacation 3 months prior to filing, a set of tires 2 weeks before filing, and many utilities weeks before filing.

I think you're safe, especially since it's a medical charge.

      Good luck!

Use that one card, and keep your reciept in case you are questioned. As the others have said, most likely you won't be. Also keep in mind, you probably will be given antibiotics. Wal*Mart, CVS and other pharmacies now have $4.00 programs for generic medicines.

          Good luck.
