    Discharge Order

Question: I received the discharge order today, but I was told that it can take 2-4 weeks for the case to close. Can anything happen to me no, or can I pretty much be assured that my case is over? Please advise....thank you!!

    Closing is an administration function.

If you were a no asset case it will happen within the next few weeks.

If you were an asset case then the case cannot be closed til the Trustee sells the assets and distributes the proceeds to creditors and that can take months in some cases.

CONGRATULATIONS!!! JR is correct. The Discharge order is the important part. You have made it. Here you go:

"Worry is the darkroom where negatives are formed."
