Chapter 13 question (loan money)

We just received a letter from our lawyer telling us we're approved by the court for our chapter 13 plan. We've made a years payments already. In July we finished making the payments on hubby's car loan (was not included in BK 13). My question is now that the loan is paid in full is the trustee going to want that money? Can the trustee ask for that money even though the plan was already approved by the court?

It took a year for the judge to approve the plan? WOW! They must be really backed up. If you don't mind me asking, how was the 341 meeting? I heard they are usually not as strict as a ch7 meeting so it's less nerve racking.

The 341 meeting was a breeze..... nothing to worry about. I still need to know about the car loan money from my message above.

You probably don't need to do anything regarding the loan. Maybe ask your lawyer in passing, but generally, the trustee won't even know about it unless you tell him/her.

Waiting for lawyer to call. The car loan (which we were allowed to keep and pay ouside the BK) but its listed as unsecured on our schedule of distribution from the trustee so does that mean the trustee is going to make payments to them? It has been paid in full as of July 2005. What should we do??? Even though our plan is approved by the courts can the trustee still take that money? What happens if we need to get another car later on??
