    Hey Min

just saw you on the list, wanted to say hey as I drove buy. Waitin' on another Hurricane! They got this one pegged for Sunrise and Oakland Park. Looks like a sleeper 'cane though (we are post Andrew refugees from Miami Dade, who moved to Broward). If it blows the shack over I'm outta' here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!! I'm hoping that if it comes it bangs away my deductible and flattens the place. The way the Insurance works all or nothing is best, halfway and you are screwed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PS- I don't live in the Forum, just have an odd schedule.

Yeah, I just posted a note to you on another thread about the weather report in your area.....

Looks like its 'RAINING ON YOUR PARADE - HURRICANE STYLE".

Yeah, the insurance companies are all or a "little nothing" when it comes to damages.....

Do you have to leave everytime one comes thru??? Are you that close to the coast???
I don't know if I could handle the "nerves" from hurricanes all the time or not..... we just deal with tornados here in Ky.... (and that's not very often)....
I would get awfully tired of "fighting the weather" so to speak.

Let me know how you survive it - hope you are good at "treading water" - ME, I CAN'T SWIM....

Hope your okay, Robivi3....we'd miss you around here !!

    Take care of yourself....

We're inland, 12.2 direct drive down Oakland park BLVD. to the Beach. The wind wreaks havoc here and we are on the edge of the Everglades half a mile east of I-75, WE FLOOD, but not this time. Buildable land is gone, we were one of the final bastions of horse and cow country in Broward and it is dying, only the towns of Davie and Cooper City have etched in stone plans to save themselves from the onslaught and maintain the "equinne lifestyle".

          Hello Robivi3,

Sure glad to hear from you......was afraid you were going to be "blown away" again....

Was watching the news this morning and looks like New Orleans will be terribly flooded, and lots of damage before "Katrina" quiets down.....

We are expecting heavy rains and high winds here also from it....for Tuesday and Wednesday..... told us between 4 and 8 inches of rain for us....

So you guys are not the only ones that get hit.....

Ours is not really bad, just lots of flooding in low river areas. It usually spawn tornados for us....

But sure glad to know you and yours are okay....hope you didn't have a lot of damage to your home...

          Your friend,
