    Well I have any problems?

Hello all. I filled pro se a cople weeks ago. I'm 23, married and currently unemployed living under my parents roof. Last may I flew across the pacific to care for my wife and to take care of legal immigrations issues. Anyway, I'm $22,000 dollars or so in debt. I own no car, house etc. In general, do you think I'll have any problems with my case?

I would think your case would be complicated by the fact that your wife is in another country. I'm curious how a trustee would handle this.

Where did this debt come from? Hopefully it's not from travel expenses because if you file bankruptcy, you won't have any credit to go back there for quite some time.

My wife is here now since July 8th. My debt is not from travel expenses. I had saved up cash from when I was working. Truth is, I just want to have a fresh start Credit cards are evil.

I mentioned in many posts that people that run banks are idiots for being so loose with credit, but cc's are not evil. People like you and me make poor descisions and that's how we end up here. The first step towards success is admit you made mistakes and maybe you won't repeat them.
