Mortgage Statement

Ok,

So I am into month 6 now of my repayment plan and I am still not getting my statement from my second mortgage. I am from my first. I am paying them both outside the plan. It would be nice to see that my payments are being applied.

Does anyone know if they will ever start being mailed to me again?

Here's what I did

I saw you post sitting there all alone, and felt compelled to log in after a bit of an absence.

I also have a second that I am paying outside the plan...it's a HELOC, with a variable rate. I was very nervous about getting this one right, and the servicer was being a bit sketchy about the amount due. Gave innacurate numbers several times, to my attorney as well. Thankfully, I was able to send about $25 extra for the first few months to CMA, had I not..well who knows what they would have done since they under-quoted the amount due.

My attorney sent them a letter requesting monthly payment amounts for the next year, and they compromised by sending me "post-petition" statements each month. Obviously with the variable rate, the payment wouldn't always be the same, and with the rates going down over the last year and a half, it's worked to my advantage, I'm actually paying it down faster now.

I would contact the company yourself first, and if that doesn't work, perhaps your attorney can send them a quick fax.

My lender refused to send post petition statements without a signed letter from my attorney requesting it, and faxed to them. You might have to call the lender and specifically speak to their bk department.

I talked to them today and they had me fax over a written request to start statements again.
