We know for sure one was missed and now I'm thinking our atty's office combined a couple health realted with similar names. So, what's the latest we can add to the matrix and does that push off confirmation?

How is it that a creditor can be missed? BK attorneys routinely pull credit information and check it against the information the debtor provided before filing. Then, debtor and attorney sit down together and review all the data for correctness. Then, the debtor signs all kinds of paperwork declaring that all the information is true, correct, and complete.
Minor details may certainly escape a debtor's mind when engaging this process, but I would think that all major lenders provide dta to the credit bureaus.

Although we had the ppw for some time, we did rush some things at the end. One creditor (a big one) was left off the creditors' matrix, but appeared elsewhere in the avalanche of papers, so I guess in our minds, that one was there. The others are health related and I'm almost positive they were included in the listing we gave our atty, but many had similar names... abc clinic, abc hospital, abc clinic foundation. It's seeming like at least two of these got added together. Yes, we signed and swore that it was all accurate, and if we end up having to pay outside the BK, we will.
I know you can ammend the matrix. I was wondering how long you had to do that. A week after the 341? Anytime before confirmation? ???

Creditors can be easily missed. Not everything shows up on your credit report, and if the debt is really old you can forget, then it pops back out of the woodwork, or in our case we had a debt show up after filing (medical bill that we incurred prior to filing but didn't get a bill for until well after filing.) My hub had some old debts pop up that had been sold off to junk debt buyers so we didn't know who owned them too. It's $26 to add a creditor in my district, and we can do it as long as the case is active I think, provided the creditor gets added in time to get their share of the payments.Filed CH 13 September 17, 2007
