Dishcharged with assets

We have been discharged July 30th, 2008. Our 180 day will be up Dec 1st. Our 1997 Toyota tacoma was filed as exempt...that truck has a recall from Toyota (bad frame). We could get 1.5 times its worth if it does have a bad frame (they take the vehicle, no choice). We would like to use that money (about $6000) to get another vehicle. Would the trustee come after that money?

No, unless he has an objection to your exemptions. In my case we have somehing that Trustee thought he wanted. He filed an objection, he remove the objection and we got discharged, so its mine to do whaterever I want. If he did not have interesse you can do whatever you want.
