    File now, but suffer later?

OK, so I will file Ch 7...

I have heard alot of courts are backed up big time.

So if I file now, would or could the court say "Well, now it's the "New Age" of bankruptcy and you have to go Ch 13 instead"??

I have heard different stories on both sides..In any case, I feel I wouldn't have a problem either way, but then again.....

No. The law goes into affect on Oct 17th so if you were to file the business day before the 17th which would be the 14th you will be ok just as long as you pay the fees.
