I understand that if things were charged off before I filed, then it can still be on my CR as charged off. Am I right in saying that it still has to say IIB then something in regards to the charge off? Please clarify this for me. I have done alot of searching and can't seem to get a definitive answer.

I was told by a mortgage loan officer that everything should say IIB so those charge offs that happened before the BK should be corrected now to say IIB

The creditor may indicate the charge off prior to bankruptcy by indicating the date of the charge off, the amount, etc. and then also list that the account was included in bankruptcy filed on such and such a date. Since the charge off occurred before filing, the charge off information can still be listed and not removed by the creditor.

Also, make sure it says iib and ZERO for the amount due.

any estimation of the negative effect on the score if I wouldn't have let them get put to charge off before I filed?
