Help! Which bankruptcy do we file, if any??

My husband's job was cut approximately 1 year ago. His income went down by about half. At this time we had just bought a new home. We also have 2 other homes for a total of 3. Two of the homes are now in foreclosure while the other is okay. Both houses are on the market and we are going for a short sale. Problem is we owe way more on one of them than it appraises for. Time is running out on this one. We are also facing the loss of our automobile. My question is, will any bankruptcy help us? We can not afford to make payments on 2 of the mortgages, we would be in the negative at the end of the month. We have struggled for over a year and we just want to get our lives back. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Based on what you've posted, I appears as though a Chp 7 would be appropriate for you all. Start making calls to different attorney's.

    Good Luck!
