Just had my 341 meeting yesterday!!!

Hello everyone, I just wanted to let everyone know I had my 341 meeting yesterday and as I'm sure all of you had the same feeling as I did...very nervous!!! It lasted about 5 minutes and she asked me some basic questions but at the end all she said was..."Thank you, I do not have any more questions at this time."

Does this mean everything is ok? My atty couldnt make it because she was sick so her assistant was there instead and she didnt want to answer anything without my atty. Has anyone had any objections after the 341 meeting? What were they? How did you respond? My confirmation is end of January so what do I expect from that?

Any insight is much appreciated...thanks to all and good luck.

Congratulations on getting through the 341 meeting. Like you mentioned - I was very nervous before as well but it really wasn't anything to get nervous about.

From what I know - if you had any major objections from creditors - they would have been present at your 341 meeting. But they still until your confirmation to make any objections.

There are usually objections filed - and usually from the trustee - but are minor objections usually because of missing information or requesting additional information. Your attorney should take care of all of those as (and if) they come up.

My best advice would be to relax - and expect a couple of objections to be made but not let those worry you. The attorney receives a copy of everything you'll receive so they'll take care of it and let you know if there is something you truly need to worry about.

I hope your monthly payment is comfortable and you're beginning to breath easier without the collection calls and letters (assuming you were to that point).
