I filed myself, HELP!!

I filed bankruptcy last year. I didn't use a lawyer I did it myself. I went to court in December and got my discharge 2/05. I just printed out a credit report and there are things on there that are not showing bankruptcy while others are. The things that aren't showing bankruptcy does anyone know if that means they weren't wrote off in the bankruptcy? Any information is appreciated!

How has life been after your bankruptcy? Just curious because I am hours from filing and can't wait for it all to be over.

As for your question, I am not 100% sure on this but I think you need to contact each credit bureau and send them a copy of your bankruptcy paperwork, they should update it after that.

Life has been SO much better. I am more then happy that I filed. It was totally 100% worth it. I am not on my feet, not worrying about what bills has to be paid today, no more collection calls, just all my paycheck going to just me and only worried about paying rent, fpl, and sprint. It is wonderful.

You can either write to each credit bureua, call them or go to there web site and file a dispute about anything on your credit report. I suggest either writing to them or filing the dispute at their website because this creates a paper trail, the will assign you a file number and respond within 30 days. I just went throught this process and got most everything cleared up with just one letter.
