A little Stress Reliefe @ the expense of a CA

So, I've been using an AT&T prepaid cell for a few years now... When my phone finally kicked the bucket a few days ago I jumped on ebay and found another rather cheap..

With these phones one gets $10 worth of minutes.. After some time on the phone with AT&T I found that I could not put this $10 on my existing account

Not being able to stand the though ot letting the $10 go to waste I decided to activate the sim car with the free time and put it to some good use.. Yes they do ask for a name and address at the time of activation, but hey whose gonna check to see if I put the right info in...

After several years one get's to know the names and extenstions of the collections agents rather well.. And they have that ever so convienient toll free number...

So today as part of my stop smokeing plan, every time I felt the need for a smoke, I called a collection agent of my choice.. Oh yeah, it helps to know I'm a 2 pack a dayer and this is week 2.... .. Of course I really said nothing about debt, but there was a certain degree of frustration in their voices towards the end of the day.. At one point one of them even called me (ahh like old times).. Gee did he thing I was gonna say who it was when I answered the phone???

Yeah maybe I'm a bit old to be making prank calls, but hey this is for my health afterall.... And there's still a few bucks left from the original $10...

Hang in there folks! It can only get so bad before it get's better!
$13,569 in CC debt majority in collections.. After a few surprises filed Friday Feb 13th....

    Funny.
Golden Jubilee was a year-long celebration held every 50 years in which all bondmen were freed, mortgaged lands were restored to the original owners, and land was left fallow: Lev. 25:8-17

It feels good to vent sometimes. I have JDB that was giving me grief for such a long time out of Augusta, Georgia. I sent in subscription cards to every free publication I could find in his name. Due to an unusual last name, his home address was so easy to obtain. He's probably still getting JC Whitney catalogs.

That is pure awesome, what better way to spend a few bucks and release some stress than call -them- 10-15 times a day, especially if you can always hit the same person. I've gotta try this!

I wish I was that brave. I've often fantasized about doing that to people who have managed to irritate me. However, I always chicken out towards the end.

If it weren't for the fact that this phone is pretty much untracable to me I wouldn't have done it...

I know the extensions to all the agents I have delt with so they probably didn;t get much done yesterday... I'll give them today off...

I could think of better things to do than harass people that are trying to do their jobs..

Scott, I can relate to what you are saying but this guy isn't just doing his job. He is the JDB and knows his debts are beyond statute but still calls, harasses and has even filed suit. How do I know he is aware the debts are out of statute? Because in conversation with me, he said "So what, being out of statute doesn't mean that I can't sue you... it just means you can use it as a defense. Good luck with that."

One time he sent me a letter that had one of those Postage Paid by Return Mail pre-printed on it. I taped it to a brick and sent it back to him. I can't remember how much the postage was but the post office loved it.

Yeah probably... But then again their job is to harass sooo... I gave them one final annoyance..... Today was the last day to respond to the summons for my hearing on the 16th... I responded saying I was going to defend myself.. Got a call on the way to the lawyer, Surprise surprise the hearing was re scheduled for Jan 20.... Got all the details hashed out and I'm going to be filing Jan 17th.... Basically giving them time to get prepared for nothing.....
