2 more weeks till 341

It's getting closer. December 29 is the day. My attorney filled out all my paperwork and didn't ask for any bank statements. Wouldn't the trustee or our attorney let us know if we need to bring any statements or whatever else to the 341? He sent a letter just telling us to bring ID, SSN.

I'm in Southern CA. I know how serious this is, but even my attorney didn't ask for bank statements, and he's been doing this since 1976.

DW and I total $130,000 unsecured debt. Perhaps I should atleast bring a copy of my bank balances the day of filing and a month previous? Or don't worry about it since nothing was mentioned?

Getting a little more real now, since the 341 date is approaching.

Chapter 7 no asset, totally under median.

Yes, you would have been told to bring bank statements if the trustee had requested them. Do not bring anything except for what you were asked to bring. And definitely do not offer anything to the trustee that you haven't shown your lawyer.

All signs or lack thereof sound promising.

I filed in Santa Barbara and I did give them Bank Statements. Just have them ready in case they are needed.

I was also told to bring my bank statement to reflect the filing date, and my current paystub, however my trustee didnt ask for them....It looked like he had a busy day cut out for him in the Nebraska BK court...thankfully I was No 7 on the day's schedule. Ironically, I have to co-workers who are filing and they will be in there this coming week.

I am in So cal too and my attorney asked me for a million things.

I have about 2 years of everything so there's not much they can ask that I won't have. I have been obsessive which is good and works for ME. I probably brought on my high blood pressure but I figure better to be overprepared than underprepared.

I'll scan and toss the paper later if it's not needed.

Just filed yesterday do I am a few weeks away from my 341. I will bring my entire folder to the meeting and keep it in the car.
