i have been working hard to keep credit in good standing since BK in 1999. yeasterday i recieved my 3 credit reports alltell which i here was voicestream at 1 time have me on collections 853.00. i cant remember much about voicestream im 90% it was included in BK but live in florida now all BK papers are in indy. anyway is not therere a time limit that collection can not collect and or report this. also dont thay have to provide proof such as copy of a contract with date and signiture ?

Are you receiving collection letters or did you only find out about it by looking at your credit reports.

If you are receiving collection letters, you can request validation (search this forum for info on validation).

If it was included in bankruptcy, the best way to deal with it is to write a dispute to each of the credit reporting agencies.

noticed on credit reports shows collection date as 6/05

Just go to each of the credit reporting websites (trans union, equifax, experian) and initiate a dispute.
