My son is 4...he doesn't remember to say 'thankyou' unless prompted.

One time, I had the heater on for him in the bathroom while he was pottying.

And he said "thank you mommy for the heat, it makes my feet feel real warm"

      It was so cute.

Don't get excited but this weekend, ANOTHER 10-12 year old showed me that manners still exist......

As most of you know (I'm olderer than dirt), but a real nice young man about 10-12 (parked with his dad next to my car) got out and helped me with my groceries. His dad was sitting there and his mom come out of the store to get in the car. I thanked him, and told his parents that they had a fine son there. His folks said they hoped they were raising him right, he better be kind and polite to everyone, and help anyone that they see might need help.

So unusual this time and day. Most times you could fall flat on your face and NO ONE would offer to help you up, much less see if your okay..........

I was so shocked with his kindness, that I thought about it all afternoon, and remembered what it was like when I was a kid, and my parents DEMANDED that you be polite and helpful.

Not a whole lot of that left in this world,

It's good to see that it still exist, even in small portions........

His parents had a "right" to be real proud of their son....... he was real genuine in his attitude and helpfullness.......

A real pleasant surprise on a cold afternoon......

"It's amazing the paths that our feet sometimes follow in life".

My suggestions are from "personal experience" and research only. Do not consider this as legal advice. Each bankruptcy case is different.

Aw, that is cute. It's nice when kids are polite.

Genenco, I like your Avatar. It shows your heart. It is rare that parents raise their children with what we assumed was proper when we were children. Not today. Now everyone is afraid of everyone and few hold out a hand to help anyone in fear they will be harmed or sued. 'Hub
